Build a new serviceRetail and commerce

Helping a retail brand build a shop around its stores and members

The brand needed cross-store membership, collection and delivery, while its packaged shop separated those rules. We connected member benefits, store fulfilment and after-sales work around a complete purchase.

Client: a multi-store retail brand. Teams: operations, stores and customer support. End users: members and shoppers.

01

One membership, different store responsibilities

Customers needed one membership across stores, but product availability, collection, delivery and returned benefits could not be handled by simply adding another checkout page.

02

Trace a purchase before choosing the first release

We mapped purchase, acceptance, collection and refunds with store teams, retaining useful payment and product services and prioritising a complete transaction over complex promotions.

03

Connect benefits to the order and fulfilment

The work linked member identity, store permissions, availability and fulfilment. Orders retain pricing and benefit records, with collection, delivery and refunds following explicit rules.

04

Give operations a service they can maintain

Shoppers can choose a store and fulfilment method; staff manage their own orders. Configuration, interface and exception guidance support further stores and membership changes.
