Build a new serviceAllocation and reconciliation

Helping a new platform make multi-party allocation rules traceable

The business involved a platform, providers and merchant partners, with conditions beyond simple percentages. We defined calculation, confirmation and execution responsibilities before connecting records to its selected payment provider.

Client: a new multi-party trading platform. Teams: operations, finance and merchant partners. External service: the selected payment provider.

01

A commercial agreement needed more than percentage fields

Allocations depended on services, order status and refunds. The client needed a complete operating process that could retain the basis for each decision.

02

Clarify responsibilities and calculation timing

We mapped participants, calculation bases, reviewers and refund adjustments, checking provider integration conditions and separating business records from actual fund execution.

03

Preserve the rules used for each allocation

Versioned rules generate records for confirmation and provider execution. Receipts and exceptions remain linked, while later rule changes do not silently recalculate historical orders.

04

Make the cooperation model operable

Finance and operations can explain allocations and status, with merchants limited to their own scope. Configuration, approval permissions and interface documentation support later business changes.
