Improve existing systemsLive content services

Helping a live-content team connect viewing access to membership orders

The client already streamed content but manually checked registration, payment and viewing eligibility. We retained its video service and connected members, sessions and orders, including refunds and replay access.

Client: a membership-based live-content business. Teams: operations, support and content staff. End users: registered members and viewers.

01

Broadcasting worked, access still needed manual checks

Registration, payment and streaming tools held separate lists. Refunds and session changes left staff uncertain about which viewing permissions should remain active.

02

Clarify accounts, sessions and entitlements

We checked the existing video interfaces and access facilities, defining member identity, payment state and viewing scope while retaining usable streaming infrastructure.

03

Make access follow business changes

Registration orders, session management and access checks share refund, expiry and replay rules. Failed updates remain visible for support instead of prompting unrestricted access.

04

Operate the service around sessions and members

Members find content they can access, and support traces issues to orders. Permission rules, provider configuration and recovery guidance are included in handover.
